Donations help us help our Underdogs. Here are some typical expenses for dogs in fosters or rescues:
- $15 Leash and Collar
- $25 Toys and/or treats
- $30 Flea preventative/Dewormer
- $40 Large bag of dog food
- $50 DAPP and Bordatella Vaccines
- $65 Cost of wellness vet visit
- $100+ Higher veterinary costs such as diagnostics, preventatives, minor treatments, or pre-surgical bloodwork
- $165- $300 – Low-Cost Spay and Neuter cost

Foster or Adopt
Here are some things to know about adopting and fostering animals:
Fostering:
Please follow our Facebook page for dogs needing to be fostered or contact a local rescue and shelter to get started.
Fostering can be a lifesaving experience for animals that need more time and care before being adopted. It can also help people learn more about pet care.
Fostering can also:
- Free up space in shelters
- Provide more personal attention for adoptable pets
- Help prepare pets for adoption
- Bond the shelter with the community
- Educate people about animal overpopulation
Adopting:
Adopting a pet can help save a life and break the cycle of pet overpopulation. It can also help stop cruelty in mass breeding facilities.
