Found a Dog?
I found a dog. What do I do?
Please follow these steps to give the dog the best chance of being reunited with their family.
Have the dog scanned for a microchip (any vet can do this)
Make a found report (see below for specific shelter contact information)

If you cannot hold the dog until an owner or a rescue is found, please call the appropriate Animal Control Agency to pick it up or drop it off during their normal business hours.
We understand that this is a lot of steps, but these dogs deserve it. They deserve the chance to be reunited with their family if they have one. If you find a dog, please do your due diligence and follow these steps. Please know that rescues cannot help until these steps have been completed.
